Objective 2 - Investigate Oobleck.
To prepare for the challenge of propelling as big a payload as possible 1 meter into the air, explore the materials you can use. Once you start testing with the payloads, every test you conduct will count so make sure that you understand what happens when you change something on the rocket!
In Order to Complete Objective 2:
Step 1: Play with Oobleck!!
☐ Send your R&D Manager to collect your Oobleck sample.
☐ Stick your hands in the Oobleck and get a good feel! Sometimes the best way to learn about something is to mess around with it, or even break it.
☐ When you’re done playing, rinse your hands in the buckets.
Step 2: Reflect on Oobleck In your Science Journals, each team member should:
☐ Record three specific words or phrases you used to describe Oobleck.
☐ Write 2 or 3 questions about Oobleck you thought of when you were playing with it.
