Objective 1: Know Your Role.
Decide which roles you and your team members will have today. Fill out the form to let us know. Objective 2: Choose Your Liquids. Pick 3 liquids you will test. Select from water, shampoo, corn syrup, rubbing alcohol and vegetable oil. Look at the Liquids Layering Experiment for more information. Objective 3: Make a Prediction for 3 Liquids. Predict how the liquids will layer. Record your prediction. Objective 4: Do the Experiment. Send your Supply Manager to get your supplies. Have the Engineer do the pouring. Objective 5: Post Your Findings. Post your findings on the end of your workspace. Objective 6: Analyze Other Groups’ Data. Have your Foreman look at what the other groups discovered. Objective 7: Make a Prediction for 5 Liquids. Use the information you collected to post a prediction. Objective 8: Explore Gases. See if gases will layer like liquids do.
