Motors Challenge
The Challenge
Experiment with the same motors you will use to power your airship ROV.
Objective 2: Gather the following supplies
Objective 3: Make a motor run
Objective 4: Make a motor turn on with a switch
Objective 5: Make a motor run in reverse
Objective 6: Weigh your motor
1. Turn on your digital scale.
2. Make sure your scale reads “0” when nothing is on it.
3. Attach your fan motor to the plastic cup. Turn on the fan and make sure it blows air UP.
4. Place your fan motor on the scale.
5. Record how much the motor weighs with the fan off.
6. Turn on the fan and record how much it weighs now.
7. Switch the direction of the fan and repeat steps 5 and 6.
8. Record your data:

- 1 Circuit Board
- 3 3V Battery Holder (fits 2 AA batteries)
- 6 1.5 AA Battery
- 2 Wires w/ Snaps
- 1 Motor (M1)
- 1 Red Propeller
- 1 Press switch (S2)
- 1 #2 Snap-wire (blue)
- 1 Green Propeller
- 1 Digital Scale
- 1 Plastic Cup
- 1 M4 Motor
